TORTY IKECHUKWU
Torty Ikechukwu is a photographer, cinematographer, and director that currently lives in Lagos, Nigeria, but grew up in Kaduna state,Nigeria
Since discovering his passion for film making, Torty has worked as a Producer ,Film Director, cinematographer, stills photographer for several Nollywood movies and commercials.
In November 2021, Torty bagged professional certification in Cinematography and Lighting after undergoing a 3 months course at the Ebonylife Creative Academy.
After working as a crew member and director of photography on several films and TVC's during and after his time at the academy, Torty took a huge step by creating the short film "ME" which is his first directorial debut which got several selections in film festivals. In the July 2022 he produced and directed 50 episodes of "THE FACT SHOW" which is one of the biggest shows in Africa.
His main career goal to become one of the best filmmakers in the world.
